Doc explains the role of lawn organic fertilizers and how they work. A key element of adding organic matter to your lawn is a healthy soil. Good microbes and good fungus help our lawns grow and reduce the amount of fertilizers needed. By adding organic lawn fertilizers we feed the living organisms in the soil. Doc also tests Dirt Booster as a possible spreader applied organic lawn fertilizer.
The lawn makes organic molecules such as sugars by photosynthesis and supplies them to the fungus, and the fungus supplies to the grass water and mineral nutrients, such as phosphorus, taken from the soil.

I love the videos my problem is trying to decide how to attack my backyard salad bar. I have health issues and let the yard go for 3 years ? Now come hell or high water ? Its going from ugly to golf course green. Could they make the dirt booster in 40 lb bags? ?
Doc, since I discovered your site last month, I have been reading like mad. I have been trying to get the Super Juice you speak about in your fertilizing videos. It has been out of stock on Amazon since I started looking back in March–and I have looked everyday. I have even call to see when it may be available. But no one returns my call. I saw in the video where you put out Dirt Booster using your spreader. I have a bare spot in my yard where I’m transplanting runners. Can I use Dirt Booster as top soil and just cover the bare spot???

I have issues with dollar spot every year. Will the fungicide harm the good fungus when I treat this year?
Will super Juice alone stain concrete with its 2.5 iron content. Just curious if I use this without the dye will it stain my concrete driveway concrete sidewalks and concrete foundation of my home. I’m really wanting to use this but my concern is the staining from the iron. Or is there no staining involved. Thanks Doc you are always delivering great videos and products recommendations. regarding superjuice 1 recipe calls for 1 cup etc. for 8,000 sq. ft. and this recipe calls for 3 cups and a bunch more recharge for 10,000 sq.ft. How can I tell which recipe to use in order to benefit from using the chicken crumble?
