Fall Mowing Height Reel Mowing New Zoysia Lawn
Doc finally gets a reel mower for the new Zoysia lawn. He discusses cutting heights as we approach the cooler temps and how tall to cut your lawn going into the fall. Also he talks about grubs in the lawn, armyworms, and fall fertilizers that should be applied. Remember, there is a fertilizing “window” for your lawn as the temps start to drop.

Lawn care tips and Bermuda lawn care.
Doc, have followed you instruction using Anderson products with great success. After clearing, adding topsoil, and seeding with common Bermuda…I made the grave mistake of using straw over the seed. Watered the heck out of it to see only 20% at best germinate…the straw smothered most of the germination process. Could you mention to other subscribers NOT to use straw on seeding of bermuda, centipede, and zoyzia. Learned the hard and expensive way. Thanks, Eric Porter
