Summer Bermuda Lawn Care – The Return Home
After 6 LONG weeks working on the beach house Doc returns to the Bermuda lawn, the vegetable garden, and flower gardens. There is some good and some bad with the lawn but seeing that there was a drought and no care other than cutting and watering the lawn did fairly well. Doc goes over some upcoming videos as well.

Lawn care tips and Bermuda lawn care.
Hey Doc, welcome back after your 6 week hiatus! Just saw your video of all the veggies and wildflowers growing and going bonkers in your backyard.
I see you reaching in to show tomatoes and zucchini, etc. — just BE CAREFUL – you’ve been away for 6 weeks and a snake or two may have worked their way in there and may be hiding amongst all that vegetation! We’d hate to see you get but by a potential snake in all those plants!
I follow your lawn guide with great results! My Bermuda is 1.5″ with just faint yellow haze after cutting. My mower cuts at .5, 1.0, 1.5 and 2″ fixed height settings. I worried that if I cut to 1″ the lawn won’t recover because I have very weak irrigation. Temps going to 90s in Rock Hill SC. I’m temped to just let the grass stay at 1.5″. In the past I just kept going taller. Any thoughts? Thanks, enjoy your videos.
Doc, I have been following your videos and plan for 2 years now. My Tiff Tuff has never looked so good. Thank you….. About 2 weeks ago, I started seeing some Dallisgrass. I live in Greenville, SC and we had about 3 inches of rain last week and the Dallisgrass is spreading. I keep cutting it about every 3rd day but I still keep seeing new spots of the weed. What do you recommend to control/kill Dallisgrass?
