Fall Lawn Over Seeding and New Lawn Seeding
Doc did a Zoysia seeding and now is doing an overseeding and touch up seeding on the lawn. He is prepping the rear lawn for a full seeding and walks you through the steps. Over seeding can still be done on warm season grasses like Bermuda, but time is running out. Cool season lawn seeding and over seeding will start soon.

still waiting on info on getting rid of sandbur in the Bermuda lawn. Central Texas lawns.
I have a well with a lot of iron in it. Turns the sidewalks, driveway and the well shed orange/tan. I use Unrust. A powder that mixes with water in a sprayer. Spray it on and wash it off BEFORE it dries. I usually wet the area before use so it doesn’t dry in a hurry. Leaves a flakey white residue otherwise especially on washes gravel driveways and brick.
What type of top soil or lawn dirt or compost do you cover the Bermuda seed with? I know a 1/4” deep, but I have no idea about dirt.
