Fall lawn care is different than normal lawn season care. In the fall we want to make sure we are not putting out high nitrogen fertilizers. We want a balanced 5-1-2 to 10-1-2 fertilizer and also things like macro nutrients, iron, and amino acids.
Below you can see a fall army worm which is common in fall lawns. This one happens to be a male and the female can look white to dull gray. It’s a good sign that they are laying eggs in your lawn if you see them.
