Dethatching Lawns vs. Verticutting

Doc talks about dethatching lawns vs. verticutting lawns and which you should do. The majority of Bermuda and Zoysia lawns should never be dethatched. However when they start to get super thick, we can do something called verticutting. Dethatching pulls up too many runners in these lawns but the verticutter will slice and cut. This thins the lawn and gives it a better look and more of an upright growth.
