Hi, I really love using dirt booster on my lawn but I also use it for every plant I have in my yard. i even give a ziplock bag of it with every plant I gift to friends and family and tell them to mix it in the dirt when they plant it. I am also addicted to the smell of it and it makes me so happy when I use it. (But also makes me crave pancakes after I open the bag). I do want to ask though is it possible to do the premix of the dirt booster… Read more »
Why is dirt booster plus not OMRI approved?
Because it contains an organic material (corn) that is not consistent and varies with its properties. i.e. HUMICHAR is OMRI because the humic and biochar never varies in source or content. Hope that makes sense.
I want to apply your dirt booster but it sounds like I have to continually apply it often so for the price to do a half acre is about 300 an application which is too much for me. My question is if I do it once a year would it still benefit my lawn soil or is this something I need to do throughout every year.

Yes apply in the warm season.
I know rule #1 with new sod is don’t treat it, but has anyone tried dirtbooster plus before laying down? Any good results or wait until late spring?
It’s fine to apply before and after. It’s just biochar and organic matter.
