So, newly sodded lawn at end of June in upstate SC. Sounds like I could consider a pre-emergent treatment in the dead of winter, would I then repeat in early April, or wait? Love the advice here…have been on fescue my entire life until this summer so I have tons to learn!
I live in southern California, Orange County to be exact.
My question is since our weather conditions are drastically different than the conditions found in George, what adjustment if any would I have to make to what you provide in your video’s. Or perhaps you could make a video to address growing Bermuda grass in southern California?
Doc,
Thanks so much for the fall lawn preemergent video. I did a poor job last year in this area and I have been plagued by Nutsedge. I have also struggled with other weeds this summer, so I am planning on doing the 2-step process this fall starting this weekend (South Carolina). One question: I know how you hate applying negatives, but when I do apply the dimension with Super Juice, could I benefit by including Image at the same time or am I too late? Again, thanks for everything you do for us.
Doc,
Will the Green Shocker help repair army worm damage? I cut my grass at 5/8″ and up to my army worm invasion my grass looked awesome…even after hard cuts. Now it’s like I’m fully cutting all of the green off. Should I just let it be or hard cut a notch down at this point? Upstate SC.
Yes, it will help push the green back in.
Doc,
I have 2.5 acres of lawn that is not under sprinkler irrigation. I depend solely on rain, I’m beginning following your plans for lawn care. How do you suggest applying pre-emergent to and we are extremely dry. Also I purchased a 3/4 zero G hose and need to get warranty as it split? Can you help with who to contact on hose.
Thank you,
Ted
