ANYONE… can have a great Bermuda lawn… even if your lawn is more than 70% weeds. I have transformed some of the worst. Bermuda is a VERY forgiving grass.
Trust me… it’s not rocket science. It’s more of a “problem / solution” thing, understanding WHAT… to do WHEN… and WHAT to use for best results.
My background comes from the golf course and pro-turf side of the industry, but here is what I learned. These industries use high quality, problem / need specific products that you, the average home owner, SIMPLY CAN’T FIND OR BUY at the “BIG BOX” stores.
I had the EXACT same problem. My trips to the big box stores were SO FRUSTRATING. Bags and bags of “weed and feed” products and not much else. Mass Market Products are made to SELL and often MISGUIDED state regulations limit what they can contain. Therefore, the makers of these products REMOVE things your lawn NEEDS so they can sell into all the states. Great example is phosphorus. Most lawns need a little phosphorus to be healthy, but some states have wrongly banned it.
This frustration led me to start either mixing my own “home solutions” or finding them from the PRO suppliers. I then asked these suppliers to start listing them on Amazon so that when I shot a video, I could point you to the same products.
Over the past 2 years, I have worked with them to start creating NEW products, which were perfectly… matched for warm season grasses such as Bermuda. (Many are also made for both warm and cool season grasses.)
Now it’s fairly easy… follow the plan, follow the calendar, click a button and they show up at your door in a few days. Problem solved.
I will make one more note…
Some people try and use big words or try and sound smart. I do the opposite both in my videos and in my writing. I talk to you like we’re sitting down to have a beer. Simple conversations at an 8th grade level. CONSIDER THIS BOOK… as more of a collection of notes… not a novel. …………. Doc
