Scalping Bermuda Lawns

Doc scalps the Bermuda lawn because the lawn has grown too tall.  A common problem in the late summer.  Lawn scalping must be done during the active growing season and with temps still hitting the 90s.  Do not scalp your lawn when the cooler temps move in.  It may not have time to grow back.   Be aware that lawn scalping is a MAJOR undertaking and if done in the heat, can quickly wear you down.  Take health precautions and be careful.
