Then he’ll clean up the yard prior to new soil being brought in. This is step 1 in installing a new lawn. Sculpting the lawn bed is critical for drainage and will prevent issues in the future.

Doc, do you have a target CEC # for a soil test. My test came back at 19+ and I put down 7 more bags of Humichar, so I expect it to be higher, but am wondering when it is high enough?
Always good stuff. Being a northern guy, I have learned alot. Big question – 2 year old sod Bermuda. It is being invaded by Centipede in spots. I feel some may be coming up through the sod from the soil that is under it. What can I do? I pull what I can but it is non stop. Do I need to dig it out? Kill it? and then re-seed?
