Paint vs. Solid Stain Wood Fence Staining

Doc talks about using paint vs. solid stain on raw wood.  The picket fence project is finally done so now comes the time for staining.  Solid stains will offer better protection and they will not peel or chip like paint.  Like all stains they may fade over time but you can spray another coat of the solid stain or switch to paint.

Solid stains will offer a more flat look but offer a better initial protection.  Solid stains can also be painted over years down the road.
