Over Seeding Bermuda Lawn
People often make the mistake of over seeding their Bermuda lawn when all the really need to do is treat the weeds and create new growth. The next mistake is to BLEND different varieties of Bermuda grass / seed. Most SOD lawns are grown from hybrid Bermuda which has NO SEED to replicate the appearance. Also, most Bermuda seed sold at the BIG BOX stores is COMMON Bermuda. Common Bermuda is large and thick while hybrid is small, narrow, and soft.
