Fall Lawn Killing Grubs and Fertilizing
Doc treats the fall lawn for grubs and puts down the last treatment of fall fertilizer. Warm season grasses need a mild fertilizer that is not slow release. Cool season lawns need more nitrogen as they are actively growing. As temps cool our fall lawns need to treated gently. Don’t do anything that might cause damage as they will not have time to repair or regrow.

Hi Jim, I really hope you can advise me on what to do. This summer my flower bed hosta plant’s started getting holes brown and yellow leaves. Same with flowers. I pushed back the mulch starting digging hole to plant mums. I believe I have grubs. I stopped. I am so upset. Thank you
