How to Water Your Bermuda Lawn
Watering your lawn has two basic modes. The standard mode of watering your lawn is a DEEP cycle watering, then a pause to allow it to dry out. This is the watering pattern that most should follow in the spring. During drought conditions, we switch over to more frequent waterings to help our lawn survive the heat and to keep it from going drought dormant. In the video below Doc shows a deep water cycle.
The general rule for lawn watering is one inch per week. But it’s also important to understand how and when to water this amount. It’s important to watch the ten day forecast and understand the last 7 days and the next 7 days. if you enter a dry spell in the spring give your lawn a DEEP water cycle.
